Custom Shipping Container Booth for Visit Milwaukee at ASAE 2025

Here is another custom shipping container trade show booth created for Visit Milwaukee at ASAE Annual Meeting 2025 which was taking place from Saturday August 9, to Tuesday August 12, 2025 at the LA Convention Center, in Los Angeles, CA.

PLANNING

Visit Milwaukee was attending the American Society of Association Executives’ Annual Meeting and Exposition to promote their Milwaukee Tailgate Club and highlight the city as a premier convention and leisure destination.

We collaborated with Visit Milwaukee’s team to transform a standard booth into an inviting, functional space. The design revolved around a customized shipping container structure, repurposed with branded patio-style desks and networking areas that were ADA accessible. In keeping with the Visit Milwaukee identity, we applied their color palette and installed a striking neon logo sign. This setup provided a warm welcoming, functional experience grounded in authentic brand presentation.

CUSTOMIZING THE CONTAINER BOOTH

The booth featured a custom reeded wood-finish desk with a light-up “Visit Milwaukee” sign, a patio deck, mounted TVs, interactive bean bag toss, refreshment and bag stands, all tied together with the brand’s blue-and-white palette and warm wood flooring for a cozy yet energetic atmosphere.

INSTALLATION

Everything was custom built in our Los Angeles shop, delivered and professionally installed by our team at the nearby Los Angeles Convention Center.

The entire booth was designed to function within the shipping container footprint—facilitating efficient, secure transportation. Most components were preassembled and packed for display; the container itself served both as a structural shell and storage unit. After the event, teardown was seamless: everything was packed back into the container, enabling easy transit and reusable deployment for future shows.
