Van Gogh Inspired Scenery
Here is a quick look at a scenery created for the game studio thatgamecompany (TGC). It was part of a booth designed to be an interactive space where guests could experience TGCโs augmented reality filters, which turns anything you point your phone camera at into a Van Gogh-style piece!โ
Inspired by his Wheatfield with Crows piece and the Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, this scenery included 2 SEG walls with beMatrix frames showcasing blue sky, wheat fields and crows in typical Van Gogh brush strokes. The two walls were joined in 90 degree angles to create perspective.
They were complemented by a sophisticated flooring installation designed to create a realistic wheat field sensation. The filed was custom fabricated, made up of 36,000 stalks of wheat that were hand-placed into custom made, hand cut mounds of styrofoam that were covered to create a scenic dirt effectโ .
A unique hanging sign was also built, comprised of one main brand sign and 3 truss rigged TVs that played looping content.โ
As you can see, the result looked stunning and really made TGC’s booth stand out, which is RCS Custom Exhibits’ mission. Not only it created fun and excitement for guests but plenty of selfies to make it go viral.
