E3 Trade Show Booth for Pico
Hereโs a look at the planning and execution steps involved in the construction of a custom trade show booth which was installed at E3ย ย 2016 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
This was a 2-week project.
PLANNING
Our client – Virtual Reality products company Pico Interactive – was looking into showcasing their new VR Headset at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
BUILD AND INSTALLATION
We needed to provide Pico with product displays, closed door meeting rooms, custom shelves for products and a giant hanging sign.
The centerpiece was undoubtedly the hanging sign which needed to attract foot traffic into the booth. Our client wanted a 16 ft diameter circular hanging sign with their logo as a custom shape in the middle.ย This sign could not be just a standard print. We had to create a custom metal frame, skin it with wood and cover it with a custom print.ย Required engineering drawing and engineer stamp had to be allowed in the convention center.
Itย took 2 weeks to make this sign and, as you can see on the pictures below, the result looked stunning, drawing much-coveted attention for our client.
