Here is an extensive custom booth created for British Data Productivity company Matillion to showcase their platform at Snowflake Summit 2025 which was taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, from June 2nd to June 5th, 2025.

Booth Design

Designed in partnership with The Studio of Possible, this immersive exhibit brought Matillion’s brand to life through a bold, space-themed experience. Built to resemble the interior of a sci-fi space station, the booth seamlessly blended high-tech visuals with Matillion’s iconic green branding. Every element—from CNC-cut, layered details to interactive LED displays—was thoughtfully crafted to captivate attendees and elevate brand engagement. We fabricated the show’s centerpiece: an 8-foot custom mascot statue with a working LED visor, along with supporting props, all built
in-house to ensure flawless execution and cohesive design. This standout booth positioned Matillion at the heart of the event, driving foot traffic, engagement, and visibility.

Booth Construction

At the heart of the booth stood a 8-foot-tall foam statue of Matillion’s astronaut mascot, meticulously polycoated for durability and finished with a working LED visor. This towering centerpiece sat in front of a massive LED-lit portal structure, layered with CNC-cut panels to add sci-fi textures and dimensional depth—visually transporting visitors into a space station command center.

Beside the central feature were five, fully detailed prop models of the mascot, displayed on pedestals to provide depth and scale to the overall experience. We also fabricated three large illuminated “Matillion” signs to reinforce brand visibility from every angle of the show floor.

For interactivity and engagement, we custom-built three dedicated computer workstations, each housed within ventilated, custom-cooled desks designed to handle internal power needs for demo equipment. These desks provided comfortable access for attendees to explore Matillion’s platform in real-time, emphasizing functionality and thoughtful engineering.

Additional booth elements included multiple monitor displays for content, themed seating, and carefully integrated props—all finished in Matillion’s signature green color palette with accents in complementary tones to maintain visual consistency across the space. Every element, from props to furniture to lighting, was fabricated, assembled, and fine-tuned in-house to ensure quality, durability, and visual impact.

Booth Transportation, Installation and Breakdown

The booth was constructed in modular sections for efficient setup and breakdown. All large elements—including the mascot statue and portal—were designed to fit into custom-built crates, secured with internal bracing for transport. We test-assembled the booth in our warehouse before shipping to San Francisco to ensure smooth installation on-site. With this thorough preparation, the booth was safely delivered, fully assembled, smoothly and efficiently at the Moscone Center.
