Mobile Amazon Bookstore for Activations

Here is a mobile bookstore we custom built and installed for Amazon to be used for 9 brand activations around the country.

BOOTH OBJECTIVES

Promobile Marketing had us fabricate an arrangement of assets that incorporate their recent books/movies to take around the country to generate exposure/marketing for the books and their movie adaptations.

DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION

The Design was a collaboration between Amazon and RCS. It was centered around adaptability so there was not one singular layout that would fit the space but rather the layout could accommodate the space the activation takes place in.

9 Total fabricated assets that are all modular and broken down to 3 or fewer pieces per asset.

Here are some key features:

– Needed to be durable enough to be broken down/assembled 9+ times only requiring minor touch ups between activations.
– Needed to be able to fit through any 6.5’H doorway and able to navigate any logistic dilemmas that may arise.
– Needed to be mindful of budgetary constraints.
– The design was to be versatile so that it would create a welcoming environment no matter the atmosphere of the activation.
– Requires Zero powertools for assembly.

LOGISTICS

All pieces were picked up at our studio by Promobile. Our staff was there to oversee the very first activation in LA but moving forward our client will be handling installation, dismantling, transportation and storage for 9+ activations across the US.

BUDGET & TIMELINE

We only had 2 weeks to fabricate everything while maintaining cost effectiveness. Budget including co-design, construction and overseeing first installation.
