Custom Booth for TypeZero at Anime Expo

Here is a custom booth installation created for Japanese Anime production company TypeZERO at Anime Expo 2023 which was taking place from July 1st to July 4th, 2023, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

TypeZero was there to promote some of its most popular Manga series including JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure, Odd Taxi: In the Woods and My Dress-Up Darling.

Booth Design

We were tasked with building a room on a 20’ x 30’ booth plot for the client to sell product from. We constructed the room with a bright display wall, two large vending windows, and two doors. The display wall included glass cases with wall trimmed perfectly to case to create “windows”. The main room included ample storage for the toys the client was selling. We wrapped the entire structure on site with a custom vinyl printed with a graphic collage of the clients many shows and licensing contracts. We also created large window coverings that could be locked in place after show hours to ensure product security.

Booth Construction

The materials used were wood for the walls, glass for the display cases and vinyl for the printed wraps.

The booth was highlighted by the bright and eye catching display wall for which we used off the shelf glass display cases per the client request to keep cost down. We carefully selected the cases to meet the clients exacting specifications then created a seamless frame around cases. We mounted a large television on the rear wall and a small monitor above the display cases to showcase their content further. We created custom templates for all of the surfaces receiving vinyl to guarantee a proper fit.

Booth Transportation & Installation

Everything was custom built and printed in our Los Angeles shop, delivered and professionally installed by our team at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
