Uvify Drone Race Track Trade Show Booth
Hereโs a look at the planning and execution steps involved in the creation of the Uvify Drone Race Track trade show booth which was installed at the CES in Las Vegas.
This was a 3-week set up.
PLANNING
We received the 3D design from our client 3 weeks prior CES 2018.
The design was pretty straight forward, it was for a 30โ x 30โ booth. The idea was to split the space in 2: one side would display the different drones and provide seating areas for people as well as a private meeting room for clients. On the other side we would build a race track with obstacles to go through so people could try out the drones.
BUILD AND INSTALLATION
Side: we built wooden displays and incorporated LED lights. We built a meeting room with a back-lit sign on the main wall.
Race track: We built obstacles in different shapes for the drones to go through including triangle, square, circle and a long tunnel. We also built a large scoreboard where people could see the race & results live
We used C&C (computer cut) technique to create details and textures on the scoreboard, arches, walls.
We incorporated LED lights into the sidewalls of the race track.
The finish was done with a 2 dimensional painting technique.
