Here’s a look at a mart-themed booth custom built and installed for OfflineTV at TwitchCon 2024 in San Diego.

PLANNING

Our client – popular Los Angeles-based online media collective OfflineTV – wanted to bring their fun, casual, and creative spirit to life with a real-life immersive OfflineMart convenience store where fans could take photos and browse merch.

A key feature was a custom-built checkout-style desk paired with a shelf-filled back wall that mimicked a convenience store setup. Throughout the planning phase, we focused on
personality-driven details to make every part of the booth purposeful—whether it was for photo ops, meet-and-greets, or showcasing content in a playful, OfflineTV-branded way.

BUILDING THE EXPO BOOTH

The booth was designed to replicate the iconic Japanese convenience store “Family Mart,” offering a playful and instantly recognizable aesthetic that perfectly matched OfflineTV’s fun and quirky vibe. Key features included a large LED-lit sign labeled “OfflineMart,” authentic Bandai capsule vending machines, clothing racks styled like store displays, and fridge-inspired shelving to showcase popular Japanese food & beverages. A custom-built faux cashier counter added an extra layer of immersion, creating the illusion of a real storefront. The setup was both eye-catching
and interactive, inviting fans to explore, take photos, and engage with the space as if they were stepping into a live Offline “Mart” experience.

LOGISTICS
Everything was built in our Los Angeles shop. All assets were modular for efficient travel and re-use, packed in custom containers to ensure safe shipping and clean organization. Our team handled the complete logistics process, from fabrication to on-site install and teardown. The booth was designed not just for one-time use, but as a scalable asset for future conventions and pop-ups.
